Surrounded by lush green fields and distant hills, this modern train moves through one of the most scenic railway corridors in the region, capturing a perfect blend of technology and nature.
India's First Vertical Lift Sea Bridge - The New Pamban Rail Bridge
Train No. 56711 Madurai Junction - Rameswaram Passenger crosses the newly constructed Pamban Rail Bridge, India's first vertical lift sea bridge. Led by GOC WDP-4D locomotive (40115), the train moves towards Pamban Railway Station across the stunning stretch of sea connecting the mainland to Rameswaram Island.
